High Times takes strong stance on Presidential Un-Endorsement

High Times magazine takes a strong stance on John McCain

The Un-Endorsement of John McCain.

"Claiming that he opposes arresting medical-marijuana patients, while admitting that he would continue the federal government’s raids in California and the 11 other states that have created med-pot programs."

The article goes on to explain a 1993 scandal involving McCains second wife stealing Prescription pain killers.

High Times Un-Endorsement

Some food for thought with the coming election.

Banksy is up to it again...

Your Boy Banksy is up to it again. This time he's throwing down for the Big Apple with the opening of the Village Pet Store And Charcoal Grill.

From Banksy : “New Yorkers don’t care about art, they care about pets. So I’m exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art.

This is quite the change from Banksy's last show in Los Angeles back in September of 2006 that involved a live elephant being painted pink. You can read more about it here BBC "Banksy's elephant provokes anger"

A fine rainy day...

It's clear that winter is coming by the brisk air, and the steady down fall of rain. While digging through the digital stacks tonight I stumbled across this set. It gets a little gritty towards the end. I am not sure of the origin. But its sounding pretty good over a bowl on this fine rainy night. Enjoy. MosHi
